A Tommy Dey See Carved Abalone Butterfly Fetish Necklace in Mother of Pearl, Turquoise and Coral!
This beautiful item is completely handmade by Tommy Dey See in Zuni Pueblo! Featuring a series of graduated butterfly forms leading to a larger, 1 1/2" wide central butterfly in multicolor abalone. Each one has details sribed into the surface. The butterflies are connected by strands of turquoise and coral beads on sterling wire for a choker shape. The necklace, strung upon open link sterling chain, measures 24" long with a clasp/eye closure. The back is unsigned and can be worn reversed for a different look. If you are looking for a great example of traditional Zuni fetish carving and design, or an incredible gift, this one-of-a-kind item will delight the recipient!
