Navajo S Silver Triangular Purple Charoite Pendant

This wonderful piece features traditional sterling tooling by Donovan Skeet, a solid bezel -- plus, really nice, freeform, deep purple charoite. Charoite was first discovered in the Ural Mountains of South-Central Russia in 1911, and was unknown in the West until 1985! There is nothing that can compare to it in color, chatoyancy and flash! The deeper the cabachon is cut, the greater the variation and depth of color, and this is a deep cab! Hallmarked and stamped sterling it measures 1 1/8" long.ex bale. The bale can accept up to a 3/8" diameter bead set, chain or cord.

Specimen setting like this is the best example of traditional Navajo silver work, and will make a striking addition to anyone's wardrobe!
